People and places all make one first impression. Community greening can help make that first impression a positive one! 

How many times have you visited an area and felt safe and at home?  Those places we tell others about and would plan to visit again.  How many times have you visited an area and felt unsafe and were ready to leave as soon as you arrived?

Being litter-free is an essential part of a great first impression.  Another important facet is having well-designed and maintained spaces. 

Keep Alabama Beautiful affiliates work with local organizations to provide resources and to organize volunteers to beautify public spaces through several programs including:

• Community Beautification Day
• Native Plant Gardens
